In 1974 Rick Thomas turned a passion for plants and a keen sense of design into R.G.Thomas Landscape and Design. Over the years R.G.Thomas Landscape and Design, Inc. developed it's identity as a creative and quality design/build firm. Today, the Thomas family operates RGTL&D with the same commitment to our customers that has made it a fixture in Northeast Ohio for more than three decades.

Our design staff can create a master plan for your entire property or turn a small area into a intimate outdoor space. Whether you are interested in a hardscape project like a patio, outdoor kitchen, deck, or retaining wall or something "green" like trees, shrubs, perennials or lawns we can come up with a unique solution.

R.G.Thomas Landscape & Design provides professional installation of all phases of landscaping, landscape construction, and landscape lighting. About the only thing we don't do is mow lawns.

R.G.Thomas Landscape has always had a sense of community. We have donated our expertise to Akron, Norton and Barberton, through support of landscape projects. We have been partners with Keep Akron Beautiful on their Dreamscape Makeover since it's inception in 2004.We have created unique projects for Downtown Akron Partnership and The lock 3 Summer Arts Program. Most recently we have had the pleasure to work with the staff of Stewart's Caring Place in Fairlawn on the design and installation of a memorial Butterfly Garden.
